NCCIH Distinguished Lecture Series: “All Health Is Not Created Equal: Where You Live Matters”

The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) Stephen E. Straus Distinguished Lecture Series features lectures by leading figures in science and medicine. The next upcoming lecture, “All Health Is Not Created Equal: Where You Live Matters” is a presentation by the new director of the National Institute of Nursing Research, Shannon N. Zenk, Ph.D., M.P.H., R.N., F.A.A.N. It will provide a timely discussion on understanding how our environment influences the continuum of health – for example, how where we live, work, and play can impact the air we breathe, housing conditions, fresh food sources, access to recreational space, and a multitude of other social determinants of health.
