2018 Patient Satisfaction Survey Results

November 6, 2019   |   Provider News

CHP’s annual patient satisfaction survey is an integral part of our quality management program. Using the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) 3.0 survey tool, the overall patient satisfaction score for CHP providers was 98%. This outstanding and remarkably consistent score continues to demonstrate a high level of patient satisfaction with CHP’s network of providers. It also shows IH providers contribution toward achieving the triple aim of better care, smarter spending, and healthier people.

Not only do CHP providers score high in patient satisfaction, but the significant impact of integrative healthcare (IH) on driving down other medical use and the reduction of opioid usage is evidenced in this survey by the patients’ answers to the following questions.

    • 62% stated always
    • 24% stated usually
    • 8% stated sometimes
    • 5% stated never
  • Has the treatment or recommendation you have received from this provider reduced your use of other medical care for this problem?
